But Sunday afternoon while at an airsoft shooting field in Plymouth, he picked up what he thought was an airsoft pistol. There are a number of stories online about this incident…but we like this one primarily because we hear from the 10 year old player and his father…and while they demonstrate the proper gun safety knowledge, the kids involve did end up firing a real gun…”accidental” discharges don’t just happen…and the deputy needs to be held fully accountable. Drills included elaborate shooter scenarios with airsoft guns, as one rogue participant opens fire at the crowd without warning.
