Here is the coverage of Ohio's House Bill 119...the latest attempt to regulate "toy guns." Only, just like PAINTBALL AND BB/PELLET GUNS...AIRSOFT ARE NOT TOYS, and should never be classified with toys!

Although not "real news," this article on City Watch LA's site is an op-ed whose writer has clearly done her homework...and a great "read this" pointer for folks who want to get up-to-speed on the LA./Cali/US Senate Bill situation in a hurry. And, the quote above? We could NOT AGREE MORE!

The details in this story are troubling...and there are more charges, including a related stabbing homicide still to be decided on by prosecutors...but much stems from violating the first rule of any airsoft game....ONLY PLAY IN A DESIGNATED AREA, NEVER IN A PUBLIC PLACE. Public means a place where anyone not aware of or related to your game may be...even an abandoned sand pit at night. What should have happened IF you come across hunters or others? CALL CEASE FIRE LOUD AND CLEAR. deconflict the situation immediately and separate the parties...or just leave the area. Better still. Don't play there at all!
