There’s a huge difference between feedback and criticism. Feedback is helpful and constructive; criticism is hurtful and damaging.

Allzuoft begegnet uns in im Arbeitsalltag schlichte Herabwürdigung getarnt als "konstruktive Kritik". Kritikfähigkeit ist hingegen ein wichtiges Lernfeld für alle, die gemeinsam etwas erreichen wollen. Kritik im Arbeitsumfeld kann aber - im Sinne des Wortes - leicht mißverstanden werden. Es hilft niemandem, wenn man bei handfesten Missständen um den heißen Brei herum redet. Im Gegenteil. Eine andere unerträgliche Form von Kritik ist die in "Freundlichkeit" verpackte Relativierung, die eher auf Führungsschwäche hinweist, als auf Wertschätzung. Was aber Grundlage aller Zusammenarbeit ist, miteinander Reden, gute Feedbackkultur, Wertschätzung und Ehrlichkeit, ist auch Grundlage für ein gemeinsames Wachstum. Kritik und Feedback entfalten hierbei unterschiedliche Dynamiken. Kann ich mich auf mein nächstes Feedback (als Feedbackgeber oder -nehmer) freuen?
