This secluded paradise, with its sandy beaches and crystal clear warm water, is believed to have formed decades ago when it was used as target practice by the Mexican Government prior to World War I in the early 1900s.

By looking at this picture you automatically think its a waterfall within the water. This image is actually just showing the mix of sand and silt deposits mixing together. The light to dark colors is what makes it look like a waterfall.

Another spectacular sight. Of course, you will need a plane or helicopter to venture above it to see it, but this illusion is pretty nifty.

I'm a native of Vietnam and have been back several times. And yet, I have never gone to beautiful Ha Long Bay. :(

I've been to several beaches in this topic but not to Ha Long yet. Have seen many pics (and movies) of it and I just cannot believe it. Amazing scenery; will go one day!

Boulder Beach (South Africa)
It's spring time there! Boulder beach, granite boulders and pinguin colony, south of Cape Town. About the pinguins: 4 of them arrived there 30 years ago, now they are more than 3000!
