The Cayo Rotaract Club has started their Christmas Toy Drive. You can drop off presents at Odette's, Pop's, or the Corner Diner.  You can also drop off at Guava Limb's Night Market this Friday.

The Rotaract Club of Cayo is teaming up with the Belize Raptor Center for A Raptor Race, which will be at 630am on Sunday, November 6th. It's to raise awareness of the BRC, and the importance of raptors in Belize.

'A race for survival- join us as we run to bring awareness to the Belize Raptor Center and the survival of the endangered orange breasted falcon.

Proceeds of the race goes towards the rehabilitation of raptors and the center.'

The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio is having their annual costume contest and haunted house on Saturday, November 2nd.  It'll be at Hode's, and it'll be bigger and better than ever.

Feelgood news of the day.  The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio has concluded their 7th annual Adopt a Village Project, and with help from The Office Gurus, they provided 37 students with a backpack and school supplies.  Thanks, Rotaract and TOG! 

"On Sunday, September 2nd, our club conducted our 7th annual Adopt A Village Project. The project aims at providing basic education to the children in the villages of Yalbac and La Gracia. We were able to provide 37 children with a school bag filled with basic school supplies and tuition for this school year. A big THANK YOU to The Office Gurus Belize for their generous donation, we wouldn't be able to complete it without their assistance. Also to our club prospects who led this project, Melanie Navarette and Brandon Savala, we would like to congratulate you both on a job well done! We are proud of you both!"

Congratulations, Rotaract Club of San Ignacio!  They won the 'Project of the Year Award for their wonderful School Refurbishment Project, where they fix schools in need.  Keep up the amazing work.

"Through out the year we have been updating you on all the different schools and projects we have been doing with our Rotaract School Refurbishment project and this year we are proud to announce that our Rotaract club won Project of the year at the annual Rotaract Belize Intercitadina, a victory we share with all the clubs that participated. The Rotaract School Refurbishment Project is a national project proposed by Ms. Yasel Acosta that was fully sponsored by Westrac Ltd. Feelgood news of the day.  Thanks, Rotaract Club of San Ignacio, for providing much needed school supplies for 25 La Gracia and Yalbac Village primary school students.

"It's that time of year again, back to school time and our annual Adopt a Village Project! This year We sponsored 25 children in the La Gracia Village and 9 in the Yalbac Village; each child received a school bag and all the school equipment required for their class. Good luck RotaKids, study hard and make us proud! "

Feelgood news of the day.  The Rotaract Club of Benque distributed their Christmas gift baskets in Benque and Succotz, and the Rotaract Club of San Ignacio distributed gift baskets in San Marcos.

"On our 3rd Annual Food Drive . Once again the Rotaract club of Benque Viejo distributed gift baskets to our lovely people form Benque and San Jose Succutz.  Thanks to all for thier full support. Giving smiles and happiness to our kind and loving people.

Today, the Rotaract Club of San Ignacio went to bring Christmas to the Village of San Marcos in the Cayo District. The club distributed Christmas lunch and food baskets to all the families in the village and all the children received toys! The Navidad del Nino project is proudly sponsored by Unicomer-Courts Belize." 

Feelgood news of the day.  The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio visited students of the Yalbac and La Gracia, and delivered school supplies.  Not only that, they have many more to distribute, and they pay the tuition for 34 of the students.  Thanks, Rotaract!

"Today Rotaract Club of San Ignacio members went out to La Gracia and Yalbac village to deliver bags filled with school supplies for classes from infant 1 to standard 6; the club also pays tuition for all 34 students. We still have 50 additional school bags with school supplies to distribute within this coming month."

The Rotaract Club San Ignacio had their Go Kart Fundraiser, and it was fun for everyone.  Those little go karts really get some speed.  Check out their page to see the projects that the funds went towards.  Thanks, Rotaract!

Rotaract's annual Kids Costume Competition is back, and it'll be on Friday the 28th, at 7pm. Hode's Place, as always.

The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio had their annual Halloween costume contest and haunted house at Hode's this weekend.  There were some nicely thought out costumes there.

Halloween is just over a week away, and once again, Cayo's going to have tons of fun events for everyone.

RawSpa is having Night Quest come back for their It Came From the Jungle Halloween Rave.  If you missed the Jungle Fever rave, you can catch some amazing music on Saturday.

The Belize Botanic Gardens is having their Haunted Garden on Friday.  That should be fun and trippy. 

Rotaract is having their annual haunted house at Hode's on Saturday. 

Reny's Winga is having a costume contest for kids while Eva's has one for adults, on Saturday at the Cayo Welcome Center.

CK's is having a Halloween Bash on both Friday and Saturday!  They're calling it the CK Horror Story, and Cloud 9 will be spinning on Friday.

Rotary is having their Masquerade Ball fundraiser.

The Princess is having their annual Halloween contest too.

Rotaract celebrated 49 years this month, and the 3 clubs in Cayo have been doing lots of community service projects.  Thanks, Rotaract, for all you've been doing for Belize over the decades!  

"Today the Rotaract Club of Benque Viejo re-painted Pedro Mena Park as few weeks ago it was vandalized. We want to thank the Rotarians that came from Cristo Rey to do community Service, also the neighbors that’s assisted in the painting."

The Rotaract Club of Belmopan is gearing up for their Duck Race fundraiser, and they worked with UB for to do a blood drive.  They represented Rotaract well at Earth Hour.  

The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio helped refurb the Iguana Creek Primary School, and has been an active participant in the National School Refurbishment Project, with funding from Westrac.  

The Rotaract Club of Benque also held their Rota-Copa football tournament.

The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio's annual haunted house will be Saturday, October 29th.  The fun starts with a kid's costume contest at 6:00pm, and then the spooky haunted house at 7:00pm.  It'll be taking place at Hode's.  

The Rotaract Clubs of Benque and San Ignacio are teaming up with the Belize Blood Bank to do a Blood Drive.  It'll be Friday, June 17th, at the Red Cross building on Joseph Andrews, and it starts at 8:30am.  Give blood and save a life. 

"Tomorrow is World Blood Donors day and as we all know there is always a need for blood so Join Rotaract San Ignacio and Benque this Friday at the Red Cross building, located on Joseph Andrews Drive, between 8:30 am to 5 pm to donate blood!  Be a hero!  Save a life!"

The Rotaract Club of San Ignacio is having a fundraiser tomorrow around Playa del Cayo.  You can take a go kart ride along the new highway.  They'll also have snacks for everyone.  The fun starts at 8:00am.
