The Motmot Heritage Educational Camp finished.  Thanks to everyone that helped with this amazing Summer camp!

"Last day of Motmot Heritage Educational Camp. Today the kids had a cooking session where the learn how to make bollos. We concluded the day with a presentations of the origin of corn and importance of corn. Thank you to all that assisted for a successful event."

The Rotaract Club of Benque Viejo is having a Motmot Heritage Education Camp from Friday, July 7th, through Sunday, July 9th.  It'll take place in Succotz, and you can get more information at the Succotz public library.

The Motmot Heritage Education Camp was a success!  They posted some pictures from the event.

"Motmot closing Ceremonies. We want to thank all the parents who sent their children to learn a little more about our culture. All the volunteers, the artisans Ms. Brenda Penados, Mr. Camal, Mr. Eleodoro Martinez, Ms. Shelly Martinez, Ms. Bertha Penados, Mr. Rosalio penados, Ms. Maria Penados, Dr. Filiberto Penados, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Linda, Kyllyn, Kattyln, Ms. Letty Chuc, Mr. Mai, Mr. Francisco Gongora, Ms. Marisol Godoy, Ms. Ester Godoy, Ms. Shelly Cocom, Maddie Zara and Rotaractors Debbie Alfaro, Aurelio Guerra, Yancy Nabet, Melissa Krebs, Ricky Cunil.

We also want to thank San Jose Succotz Village Council, San Jose Succotz RC Primary School, M & M Store for lending us the tents to carry out this event and have some Shelter.
