Congratulations to the Belize U-12 Football team for coming in 3rd place at the Codicader Games!   Wilfredo Galvez scored the most goals - video of one of them - in the tournament, which was held in Guatemala.  Excellent sportsmanship!

"AWESOMENESS!  PROUD BELIZEANS!!  CONGRATS to the Belmopan Football School of Talent U-12 who won today's game against Guatemala 4-3 and took 3rd place in the Codicader Games in Retalhuleue, Guatemala.  And that's your morning dose of awesomeness from some very talented young Belizeans!  2 Goals scored by Wilfredo Galvez Jr (Buddy), 1 by Brent Dubon and the other by Kelvin Gordon!!  Buddy scored 9 goals in the Tournament.  That's the most scored by any player in this Tournament!  Pics to follow later!  BIG UP to Coaches Leslie Flowers, Kenneth Budna, Jacqueline Pelayo and all the Parents who believe in these youths.  The journey continues........"

Congratulations, Caesar Dyck, for winning the bronze medal in Karate at the CODICADER games, which were just held in Guatemala.

"The Belize Karate Federation congratulates Ceasar Dyck on his performance at the CODICADER Games held in Guatemala on September 3-7, 2014.  Dyck fought his heart out against Costa Rican Champion, Daniel Alfaro to secure a bronze medal for Belize at a score of 4 points -1 point.  Even though Mr Dyck was the sole karate athlete representing Belize, the auditorium roared with support from the Panamanian and Salvadoran fans.  The under 76 kilograms category was was won by Guatemalan, Javier Morales, who defeated the sub-champion Nicaraguan, Andres Abrahan.  Ceasar Dyck trains at the Cayo Shotokan Karate Club, San Ignacio and has been the National Champion in his category for 2012, 2013 and 2014."
